2020 Dem Vows To Make Anti-Trump Soccer Star Megan Rapinoe Their Secretary Of State

Democrats have gotten so delusional that they now want a person who protests the National Anthem and smears the United States on a daily basis to serve as the secretary of state.

If one Democrat wins the 2020 general election over President Donald Trump, he has promised to make it happen.

While speaking at the far-left political convention Netroots Nation, Washington Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee said that the first thing he will do as president is ask United States Women’s National Team soccer star and World Cup Champion Megan Rapinoe to be secretary of state.

“My first act will be to ask Megan Rapinoe to be my secretary of state,” Inslee said.

“I haven’t asked her yet so this could be a surprise to her,” he said to the adoring crowd at the progressive convention.

Inslee added: “I actually believe this because what I think what she has said that has inspired us so much is such an antithesis of the president’s foreign policies.”

Thankfully, Inslee is polling around zero percent and has almost no chance of becoming president.

But his comments are another scathing example of how Democrats adore and glorify the anti-Trump soccer player.

Rapinoe has made a point of presenting herself as the leader of the Never-Trump “resistance.”

Rapinoe literally came under fire on Wednesday for saying “motherf***er” on live television during a celebration event in New York City with children in attendance.

While speaking with CNN’s Anderson Cooper last week, Rapinoe said she chose to kneel for the National Anthem as a way to make Americans “question their patriotism.”

“I think that protest is not comfortable ever,” she said. “It’s going to force people to look inward and question everything they thought that they knew.”

“Being a gay American, I know what it means to look at the flag and not have it protect all of your liberties,” Rapinoe added, playing up the theatrics for the cameras.

She added: “I don’t think anybody can deny the horrors of racism and Jim Crow and mass incarceration and what’s happening on the southern border and gay rights and women’s rights.”

She also wrote an op ed in The Players Tribune that, she said, explained her stance on protesting The National Anthem.

“I have chosen to kneel because in the time it has taken me to write this article, many more Americans have been lost to senseless violence,” she wrote.

Rapinoe was also front and center in the viral video of her and two other teammates dropping and dragging the American flag on the ground so they could “celebrate” for the cameras.

Just last month, Rapinoe said she was not “going to the f***ing White House” when asked about her feud with President Trump.

“I’m not going to the f*****g White House,” Rapinoe told soccer magazine Eight By Eight in June. “No. I’m not going to the White House. We’re not gonna be invited. I doubt it.”

Rapinoe has been in the hot seat for awhile over her anti-American antics.

She previously refused to stand for the national anthem before several soccer games in America.

Then, after a ton of blow back, she stood for the anthem but refused to place her hand over her heart as an “F you” to Trump and his administration.

Just last week, Rapinoe said she plans to team up with Senate Minority Chuck Schumer to stab President Trump in the back.
