Adam Schiff Requests Records From VP Pence Regarding His Ukraine Call

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff led the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.

Schiff failed to present a shred of evidence that Trump committed any impeachable offenses regarding his Ukraine phone call, and the president was acquitted by the Senate last week.

In another move of pure desperation, Schiff is now trying to go after Vice President Mike Pence.

Pence has rejected Schiff’s request to declassify more material referenced in testimony given by a Pence aide before the House Intelligence Committee.

Katie Waldman, a spokesperson for Pence’s office, made it clear that the VP will not be giving in to Schiff’s request.

“Because Adam Schiff continues to operate in an underhanded manner, the Office of the Vice President does not even know what he wants to be declassified,” Waldman said. “It’s simply further proof that this shoddy committee is pursuing a sham investigation.”

His request came after Jennifer Williams, a career foreign service officer who is a member of Pence’s staff, testified before Schiff’s committee during the impeachment inquiry.

After Williams failed to give him any ammunition to use against Trump, Schiff sent a threatening letter to Pence demanding the transcript of the VP’s Sept. 18 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Schiff’s team wrote in the letter to Pence:

Today, the House Intelligence Committee sent the following letter to Vice President Mike Pence requesting that the Office of the Vice President, or another relevant classification authority, declassify supplemental testimony provided by Jennifer Williams to the Committee, as noted in our report.

While Ms. Williams already testified generally to the phone call in question, declassification of this supplemental testimony will allow the Congress to see further corroborative evidence as it considers articles of impeachment, and provide the public further understanding of the events in question.

This is nothing more than another political stunt from Schiff.

Pence likely has no problem declassifying the call and giving the transcript to Congress.

But Pence knows that once you give a corrupt Democrat like Schiff an inch — he will try to take a mile.

It’s a lose-lose for the VP.

If he releases the call, Schiff and his allies will distort what was said, try to smear him, and then badger him to continue releasing more information. And if Pence refuses, Schiff will accuse him of being corrupt and hiding something.

And because Pence rejected the request to release the transcript, Schiff is trying to act as if the White House is stonewalling and not giving him the information he “needs.”

First, their Russia hoax failed. Liberals then failed to get Trump’s tax returns. Recently, their Ukraine “quid pro quo” impeachment witch hunt imploded.

Now, they are trying to go after Pence to harm Team Trump going into the 2020 election.
