As the world watches the intensifying stand-off between the United States and Iran, President Donald Trump just made it clear what will happen next.
Trump gave America’s military the green light last Thursday to take out Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani, a known terrorist supporter who has killed and help plan attacks that killed thousands of Americans over the years.
After Trump took out one of the world’s most dangerous men, Iran launched over a dozen ballistic missiles Tuesday at two military bases in Iraq where U.S troops are stationed.
American officials say there were no reported casualties and the damage to the bases was minimal.
Bloomberg News reporter Jennifer Jacobs also reported via Twitter on Tuesday morning that there were “no American causalities.”
Iraq’s prime minister’s office said earlier that it got verbal notice from Iran prior to the attack, and no casualties were reported among Iraqis.

Trump also responded on Tuesday with a tweet about the attack on two military bases where U.S troops are stationed.
All is well! Missiles launched from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq. Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now. So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far! I will be making a statement tomorrow morning.

Trump responded by saying America has “the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world,” and that he won’t hesitate to give the order to neutralize threats from Iran.
The president has made it clear that he will give the order to obliterate Iran if they test him.
The president stated on social media that if Iran decides to strike at any American asset, interest or personnel, he has a specific list of Iranian targets that the U.S. military will light up.
Trump warned Iran that America has their sights set on 52 Iranian targets, which is one for every U.S. hostage held in the 1979 takeover of the U.S. embassy in Tehran.
“Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!”
The president also defended surprise drone strike that resulted in the death of Soleimani.
“Iran is talking very boldly about targeting certain USA assets as revenge for our ridding the world of their terrorist leader who had just killed an American, & badly wounded many others, not to mention all of the people he had killed over his lifetime, including recently hundreds of Iranian protesters. He was already attacking our Embassy, and preparing for additional hits in other locations. Iran has been nothing but problems for many years.”
The president’s warning of 52 targets came a few hours after reports that an Iranian military commander, General Gholamali Abuhamzeh, announced that his country had identified 35 American targets that they were considering should they choose to launch retaliatory strikes.
With reports indicating that the damage from Iran’s “fierce revenge” was minimal, the question is what will Iran do next.
Iran’s foreign minister is signaling that the country hopes for de-escalation, and the Islamic nation knows they cannot come anywhere close to matching America’s military might.
While Democrats and liberals are rushing to defend the Iran, the world are seeing that Trump is not Barack Obama and will take action to protect Americans.
