Alleged pedophile Jeffrey Epstein supposedly committed suicide on Aug. 10, but there are still countless unanswered questions surrounding his mysterious death.
Several questions also loom about the alleged child sex ring that he operated, who all may have been involved, and how it all got started.
There are also legitimate questions still surrounding Epstein’s connection to the Clinton family, which dates all the way back to when former President Bill Clinton was in office in the mid-1990s.
And now, the FBI is involved.
According to Fox News, the FBI is investigating the death of Epstein in a Manhattan prison cell as a possible criminal enterprise.
While testifying Tuesday before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Bureau of Prisons Director Kathleen Hawk Sawyer told Sen. Lindsey Graham that Epstein’s death was a “black eye on the entire Bureau of Prisons.”
“With a case this high profile, there has got to be either a major malfunction of the system or criminal enterprise at foot to allow this to happen. So are you looking at both? Is the FBI looking at both?” Graham asked.
“The FBI is involved and they are looking at criminal enterprise, yes,” Sawyer responded.
“All the victims of Mr. Epstein have to have their heart ripped out as they will never see justice,” Graham said of Epstein’s premature death.
Fox News notes that a former medical examiner has publicly disputed a report stating Epstein committed suicide.
It was also acknowledged during the hearing that two prison guards have been arrested for tampering with prison logs after failing to check on Epstein at 20-minute intervals.
Later in the hearing, Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz lamented how Epstein died “before he had a chance to testify about his crimes, about his wrongdoings and about the other powerful men who were complicit in that sexual abuse.”
“That was a moment that shocked this country,” he told Sawyer. “There were powerful men who wanted Jeffrey Epstein silenced.”
Cruz went on to say there are only “two possibilities for what happened with Jeffrey Epstein.”
No. 1, there was gross negligence and a total failure of BOP to do its job with a prisoner on suicide watch that led to Epstein committing suicide.
Or No. 2, something far worse happened, that it was not suicide but rather a homicide carried out by a person or persons who wanted Epstein silenced. Either one of those is completely unacceptable. Both of those are profound indictments of BOP and our federal incarceration system.
Sawyer semi-deflected with her response, but reaffirmed that the FBI hasn’t ruled anything out.
This is all bad news for the Clintons.
The Clinton family could find themselves in hot water given their disturbing connection to Epstein that dates back at least two decades.
Soon after Epstein was arrested a few months ago, President Clinton released a statement claiming he only began socializing with Epstein in 2002 and took just four flights aboard his “Lolita Express” private plane.
Both of those claims, according to records, are false.
Flight records indicate that Clinton was onboard the “Lolita Express” 26 times – five of those without his secret service detail.
Clinton lied — and he is in serious trouble over it.
In fact, the Clinton family is so close to Epstein that one photo from Chelsea Clinton’s 2010 wedding likely has the former first daughter furious.
There’s even a video allegedly showing Epstein at the White House when Clinton was in office.
The Clintons connection to Epstein was already disturbing, but things just kicked up a notch now that the FBI is launching an investigation into his mysterious death.
