AOC Cries On National TV, But People Aren’t Buying It After Previous Stunt

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is an expert at generating attention and setting the narrative for the liberal mainstream media to push.

First she faked her photo shoot at the U.S.-Mexico border, now she is fake crying while listening to an illegal immigrant speaking about her deceased daughter.

The House Committee on Oversight and Reform held a hearing on Wednesday to discuss the humanitarian crisis at the border — the one in which Republicans warned about for months and Democrats refused to help before they caved last week.

Yazmin Juárez testified before the committee about how she fled Guatemala with her young daughter Mariee, hoping to be granted asylum in America.

The 21-month-old toddler died after being held in an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility in Dilley, Texas.

It’s unclear if the little girl died from conditions on her long journey from Guatemala to America or while in ICE custody — but it didn’t take long for AOC to find the cameras and exploit the situation for cheap political points.

While Juárez was testifying, the camera randomly cut to Ocasio-Cortez and showed her crying for almost a minute.

The camera stayed on AOC for more than 40 seconds while she cried and wiped her eyes with a tissue.

Many agree that any young child, regardless of where they came from, should be taken care of if they are in U.S. custody.

It’s also incredibly tragic and heartbreaking that a toddler died, but the issue here is that Ocasio-Cortez continues to manipulate situations for political gain.

Earlier this month, Ocasio-Cortez came under fire for allegedly staging a photo op at a detention facility on the U.S.-Mexico border.

In response to a tweet from CBS News, conservative activist Melissa shared a few images of AOC’s “viral” photo shoot from the border late last year.

Check out the large photo from Melissa, which shows Ocasio-Cortez staring at an empty parking lot and crying while a photographer gets the perfect angle of her appearing to be sad.

Ocasio-Cortez was so proud of these staged photos that she shared several of them from her personal Twitter account last week.

The images, which are from a trip to El Paso, Texas, back in 2018, show Ocasio-Cortez dressed in her best Sunday whites and looking as if her puppy had just run away from home.

The New York socialist shared the images with her millions of followers on Twitter, saying: “I’ll never forget this, because it was the moment I saw with my own eyes that the America I love was becoming a nation that steals refugee children from their parents [and] caged them.”

It was a clear attempt to bolster her outrageous argument that these migrant detention facilities are the equivalent of Nazi-style “concentration camps.”

The images are ridiculously dramatic and what many people on both sides of the political aisle quickly chastised as being “staged.”

But more importantly, where are her tears for American families who lost a loved one because an illegal alien — who had no legal right to be in the country — killed them?

Where are her tears and dramatic photo-shoots regarding thousands of veterans sleeping on the streets across the country after serving their nation?

She’s nowhere to be found when it comes to helping American citizens.
