Deep State CONFESSION – AG Bill Barr Closing In

Attorney General William Barr has been very busy lately getting to the bottom of the Obama administration spying on the Trump campaign and trying to prevent Trump from winning the 2016 election.

Barr and the prosecutor running the investigation, John H. Durham, just shifted into a criminal inquiry and that means corrupt Obama-era officials could be held accountable.

But an operative of the Deep State stunned many this week and admitted in front of the camera what we have all been saying for years.

During a panel discussion on C-SPAN, former CIA Acting Director John McLaughlin was asked about the impeachment inquiry against President Trump and what he thinks might happen.

McLaughlin snidely responded: “Thank God for the Deep State.”

A partial transcript is as follows:

MARGARET BRENNAN: There is something unique, you would have to agree, that the impeachment inquiry is underway, sparked by a complaint from somebody within the intelligence community. It feeds the president’s concern about an often-used term, a “Deep State” being there to take him out.

JOHN MCLAUGHLIN: Thank god for the Deep State. Everyone here has seen this progression of diplomats and intelligence officers and White House people trooping up to Capitol Hill right now and these are people doing their duty and responding to a higher call. With all of the people who knew what was going on here, it took an intelligence officer to step forward and say something about it, which was the trigger that unleashed everything else.

Now, why does that happen? This is the institution in the U.S. government with all of its flaws, and it makes mistakes, is institutionally committed to objectivity and to telling the truth. It is one of the few institutions in Washington that is not in a chain of command that makes or implements policy. Its whole job is to speak the truth.

McLaughlin tried to play it off as a sarcastic joke, with some of the audience clapping and laughing after he said it.

But his admission confirms that there are rogue, hostile actors in the U.S. government seeking to thwart the duly elected president.

McLaughlin went on to praise the so-called whistleblower who filed a complaint against Trump over his phone call with the Ukrainian president back in July.

While liberals love seeing unelected hacks try to harm the president, things continue to go from bad to worse for Obama’s allies in the Deep State.

Barr and Durham have shifted their investigation into the origins of the Russia probe into a criminal inquiry.

We also just learned this week that the so-called whistleblower who filed a complaint over Trump’s Ukraine phone call is: (1) a registered Democrat; (2) worked for Obama and Joe Biden when they were in the White House; (3) is a vocal critic of Trump; (4) helped initiate the Russia “collusion” hoax; and (5) was fired from the National Security Council in 2017 for leaks, and returned to the CIA.
