Democrats have impeached the duly elected President of the United States, and not because he committed crime, they did not charge any.
They did not impeach him for colluding with Russia on interference in the 2016 presidential election, which the Mueller Report proved he did not.
And they did not impeach President Donald Trump for violating the Emoluments Clause of The Constitution, because they know he is not guilty of that either.
In their desperate mission to impeach the president what they landed on was him looking into corruption between Joe Biden, his son Hunter and a Ukrainian gas company.
As weak as that case is, it is important to discern why that was the final straw for Democrats to push the impeachment button.
Put simply, he was getting too close to the core of the Democrats deep corruption and was going to expose it for everyone to see.
But if they believe impeachment is going to stop him, they better think again. The Senate in investigating the Bidens and they have just requested their first major witness.
Former Obama administration State Department senior official Victoria Nuland, who was instrumental in disseminating the infamous Steele Dossier has been called on to give interviews to three Republican chairmen in the Senate.
The interviews are a part of the Senate’s investigation into Hunter Biden and his dealings in the Ukraine.
Former Vice President Biden says that his son did nothing wrong in his dealings with Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company.
But the question that he, nor any Democrat, has been able to answer is this. Why did this company want to hire a former alcoholic, drug addict with no experience in the gas industry to sit on its board for a six-figure salary?
Were they just randomly searching for alcoholics with no experience? Or, could it be, that his last name is Biden and he was the son of the man who was vice president at the time he was hired?
The Senate chairmen also requested interviews with 3 other Obama era officials and that is going to be interesting as emails show Nuland worked with Eric Ciaramella, who many people believe is the whistleblower,” Breitbart News reported.
“Breitbart News further reported that Ciaramella was part of an Obama administration email chain celebrating the eventual signing of a $1 billion U.S. loan guarantee to Ukraine in addition to numerous other emails,” it said.
“These interview requests continue the chairmen’s oversight efforts … related to potential conflicts of interest and political influence by Ukrainian elements, including the natural gas firm Burisma, which employed Hunter Biden as a board member while his father was vice president and the public face of the Obama administration’s handling of Ukraine,” the Senators said in their letter.
The other officials that the senators requested interviews with are former U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken, former senior advisor on international energy affairs to Vice President Joe Biden, Amos Hochstein, former Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment Catherine Novelli and former Chief of Staff to Secretary of State John Kerry, David Wade.
