Many have been waiting for former President Barack Obama to be held accountable for his role in his administration carrying out potentially illegal actions to take down President Donald Trump during the 2016 election.
Many have argued for years that there’s more than enough evidence in plain sight that Obama and his allies tried to prevent Trump from winning the election.
But now Obama’s worst nightmare is now unfolding before his very eyes, and the results do not look good for him or the Democratic Party in 2020.
According to a poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports, “51% of Likely U.S. Voters think it’s likely senior law enforcement officials broke the law in an effort to prevent Donald Trump from winning the presidency.”
The full report states:
Just over half of voters still believe in the likelihood of an illegal high-level effort to stop the Trump presidency, but not nearly as many expect anyone to be punished for it.
Voters are evenly divided over which of the major 2016 presidential campaigns is more likely to have had illegal foreign help.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters think it’s likely senior law enforcement officials broke the law in an effort to prevent Donald Trump from winning the presidency.
That includes 34% who say it’s Very Likely. Thirty-six percent (36%) consider high-level illegality as unlikely, with 22% who say it’s Not At All Likely. Thirteen percent (13%) are not sure.
This is incredibly damning for Obama, his administration, and everyone involved in the witch-hunt against then-candidate Trump, which also continued well into his actual presidency.
Just consider that: a whopping 51 percent of Americans think Obama took part in an illegal high-level effort to stop the Trump presidency.
Over half the country thinks a sitting president broke the law and abused his power to take down the incoming president.
That’s arguably the biggest scandal in modern political history, and Democrats are acting as if that never happened.
The survey comes as many are awaiting a report from Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz, which could be released any day now.
Horowitz will formally release the findings to Senate Intelligence Committee for review, and then unclassified parts of it will be released to the public.
The FISA warrants are interconnected with the dossier and the entire spy operation against Trump, which kicked off the Russia witch hunt.
From late 2015 to early 2016, Fusion GPS hired Steele to compile the dossier.
As the 2016 presidential election was ramping up, Clinton and the Democratic National Committee paid Fusion GPS roughly $9 million to fund Steele’s anti-Trump operation.
Obama’s FBI and DOJ used the Clinton-DNC funded dossier to launch the Russia investigation against Trump in mid-2016.
This also paved the way for the appointment of Robert Mueller as the special counsel.
The allegations are that Clinton’s campaign, the DNC, Steele, and Perkins Coie conspired together to fund an operation to take down Trump from becoming the president of the United States.
Clinton’s cabal then fed the dossier to top officials in Obama’s DOJ and FBI, who then used it as the basis to launch the Russia investigation.
After more than two years of investigating, Mueller ended his Russia probe declaring there’s no evidence of collusion or obstruction of justice.
Many have argued that this clandestine operation, led by Obama and Clinton, triggered one of the largest witch hunts ever against a sitting president.
The upcoming presidential election promises to be a fiery one, and Trump will have the upper hand because more Americans than ever before know Trump is innocent of so-called collusion.
And with their impeachment inquiry already turning out to be a dud, Democrats are about to experience major electoral defeat for their party.
