Democrats continue to make it clear that they do not love America or believe that it has ever been great.
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, who was appointed by President Donald Trump back in 2017, has a simple message for those ungrateful liberals: leave.
Gorsuch’s interview on CNN was supposed to be about his new book “A Republic If You Can Keep It,” but host Ariane de Vogue tried numerous times to get the Justice to attack Trump.
And Gorsuch was ready to fight back
When asked about “troubling times in America” right now, Gorsuch invited those leftists to “look elsewhere” if they don’t like what is happening in this country right now.
He further asked: “Where else would you rather be?”
The left-wing host then tried grilling Gorsuch on the “fears” that the Supreme Court is taking a “hard right turn” due to the 5-4 conservative majority high court.
“Look, many people are thrilled that you’re on the bench, but there are a lot of people who are concerned. They’re seeing now a solid five-member conservative majority, and they’re worried about the direction of the court,” de Vogue theatrically asked.
“So, do the people who say this court is going to move, they’re going to overturn precedent, and now there are five solid members, we could see a hard right turn,” she said to Gorsuch with concern in her voice.
Gorsuch didn’t take the bait and calmly explained that there was no basis for that fear because many of the cases the Supreme Court heard last session — where there was a conservative majority — were decided unanimously:
I just don’t view judges that way. I reject that idea of how judges operate. As we talked about earlier about half – 40 percent of our cases are decided unanimously. We talked about the five-four cases. They make up a quarter of our docket, maybe a third. Those numbers have been consistent since the second World War. The only thing that’s new is that nothing is new.
But de Vogue wasn’t done and tried a third time to claim that America was on the brink of destruction because conservatives have a majority on the Supreme Court.
Gorsuch again dismantled her argument.
I just — again, to my mind, it hasn’t. The wonder of the rule of law in this country is its consistency over time. And as troublesome as sometimes our times may seem and as difficult as they may appear to us, this country has been through a lot of challenges and always risen resiliently to them. Whether it’s the civil rights movement, surviving through our civil war, or today’s challenges, whatever they may be, I’ve got great confidence in America. And I say to those who don’t, look elsewhere. Where else would you rather be?

The interview was clearly a chance for CNN to peddle Democratic talking points and act as if the entire country is living in fear because the highest court in the land leans towards conservatives and not liberals.
Adding more hilarity to the interview, it came one day before the Supreme Court delivered a major victory to the Trump administration on immigration.
