Kamala Harris Slips Up, Accidentally Reveals Top Action She’d Take As POTUS

Sen. Kamala Harris has a real shot at securing the 2020 Democratic nomination because she has proposed so many socialist policies and ideas that radical leftists strongly support.

But Harris slipped up recently and accidentally revealed a top action she would take if she becomes the next president.

After coming out in favor of slavery reparations, Harris is now preparing to take it one step further.

While speaking with fired ESPN host Jemele Hill on a podcast, Harris made it clear she believes that “writing a check” to the descendants of slaves is not “going to be enough” when it comes to reparations.

Instead, Harris is in favor of forming a commission to study reparations and wants the government to use taxpayer money to write checks and create programs in various sectors for the descendants of slaves.

Harris wants to go above and beyond to compensate descendants of slaves — and YOU, the taxpayer, will be stuck footing the bill.

“We need to address how we’re going to do it… because back to the point I was making about home ownership…back to the point I was making about disparities around education… you can look at health outcomes when you know that black women are three to four times more likely to die in connection with child birth,” Harris said.

She added: “So there’s a lot that has to be about looking at this in a way that is about structural and systemic investment in communities.”

Harris admitted that she was “reluctant” to go all-out on the issue because she fears Americans will not be in favor of this radical proposal.

“So that’s why I’m reluctant to have a simple answer to it because frankly I don’t believe that writing a check is gonna be enough,” Harris said.

“I really don’t… And the worst thing that I think could happen is that checks get written and then everybody says ‘ok, stop talking about this now’ without addressing the systemic inequities that are deep and require investment,” she added.

Harris’s position is that as president, she will make it a top priority to use taxpayer money for direct payments in slavery reparations.

The idea of reparations for slavery has become a hot topic in recent months, and no one has been pushing harder for this than Harris.

While speaking in April at Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network conference in New York, Harris told a conference of black activists that, “When I am elected president,” she would sign a bill backing a study of reparations for descendants of slaves.

Back in February, Harris admitted that she supports “some sort” of reparations to African-Americans for slavery.

“I think there has to be some form of reparations and we can discuss what that is,” Harris said.

It’s nothing short of pandering to a small segment of a critical demographic that lives in the past.

But at least Harris is admitting what she will do if she becomes the next president.
