Nicaragua Arrests Four ISIS Terror Suspects Headed To U.S. Border After DHS Warning

They got them. Four suspects flagged by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as ISIS terror suspects were just caught in Nicaragua.

DHS had warned Mexico they may be coming and to watch out, but they were nabbed in Nicaragua first by the alert authorities.

Will the left apologize to Trump? Don’t hold your breath. From Reuters:

Four men with suspected ties to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militant group were captured on Tuesday (June 25) by members of the Nicaraguan armed forces after entering the country illegally from Costa Rica, Nicaraguan police said.

The identities of three of the men matched those of suspects featured in an alert attributed to US Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) warning that three possible terrorists had recently arrived in Central America.

In a statement, Nicaraguan police said two of the men were Egyptian nationals and the other two were Iraqi. The four were due to be deported back to Costa Rica, it added.

The Egyptians were named as Mohamed Ibrahim, 33, and Mahmoud Samy Eissa, 26, while the Iraqis were Ahmed Ghanim Mohamed Al Jubury, 41 and Mustafa Ali Mohamed Yaoob, 29.

The first three men were named in the HSI alert published by Mexican media on Monday, which identified them as possible members of ISIS headed for the United States.

From Breitbart: Nicaraguan authorities confirmed the arrests of four, not three ISIS terror suspects who entered the country as part of a migrant group with Costa Rican travel documents. Three of those men are the individuals Breitbart News first reported on, regarding an international alert from U.S. law enforcement agencies.

The Nicaraguan Army arrested the four men this week at an irregular crossing point known as Guacimada, Costa Rica’s Teletica reported. During questioning, the men presented migrant travel documents given to them by the Costa Rican government.

As Breitbart News first reported, three of the four men were flagged by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as ISIS terror suspects. According to a memo first published by Breitbart News, the DHS asked Mexico for help in locating three men who they believe were en route to the U.S. border. Prior to publishing the leaked document, Breitbart News confirmed with multiple law enforcement sources in Mexico that they were on high alert.

The three men are identified as Mohamed Ibrahim and Mahmoud Samy Eissa from Egypt, and Ahmed Ghanim Mohamed Al Jubury from Iraq. According to Teletica, the three men held travel documents from Costa Rica issued on June 9. The fourth man, Mustafa Ali Mohamed Yaoob from Iraq, had travel documents issued on June 13.
