Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s entire Russia investigation was nothing more than a two-long scam that failed to give Democrats their chance to remove President Donald Trump from office.
Now that his Trump witch hunt backfired and vindicated the president, Mueller has a new job.
After taking a three-year break from private law to work as a special counsel, Mueller announced that he’s returning to his old firm — which happens to be one of the most liberal firms in the United States.
The WilmerHale law firm in Washington, D.C released a statement on Tuesday announcing that Mueller will be rejoining the firm as a partner to focus on high-profile investigations and crisis management.
“We couldn’t be happier to have Bob, our extraordinary friend, and colleague, return to WilmerHale,” the statement read.
“Few lawyers have been entrusted with as many matters of national significance as Bob, in both his public service and in private practice,” the statement added. “Bob embodies the highest values of our firm and profession. We’re privileged to work alongside him once again.”
WilmerHale is considered the most liberal of the 20 largest law firms in the country — which lends more credence to claims that Mueller is secretly a Democrat.
“I’m glad to be at WilmerHale once again, a firm with a tradition of honoring public service,” Mueller said in the company’s statement.
“It was an honor to serve as special counsel. Now, I look forward to resuming my private practice alongside the talented lawyers at the firm,” he added.
The announcement comes after Mueller’s congressional testimony back in July was a total flop.
Mueller had a rough time before Congress. He appeared unprepared, unaware of what his own Russia reported stated, and made it clear to many that he wasn’t actually the one calling the shots on the investigation.
Beyond his clear bias and conflicts of interest, Mueller’s testimony before two House committees could not have gone worse for him.
While speaking with one Republican lawmaker, Mueller got caught several times contradicting his own report.
Mueller came under fire for lying about why he decided not to charge the president with a crime.
After his testimony, President Trump dropped a bombshell that could potentially lead to Mueller behind bars.
Democrats are having a very difficult time with Trump in office, and they are losing control of their party.
And it’s clear that Democrats overplayed their hand with Mueller and thinking the ex-special counsel would help them impeach Trump.
Maybe Mueller will take on a case in the future that gives him the opportunity to go after Trump — again.
