For almost three years, former President Barack Obama has sat back and stewed over President Donald Trump dismantling his disastrous legacy.
Obama has clearly been itching to get back into politics — but was waiting for the “right” candidate to endorse.
And the former president has officially made his first endorsement, but not for any of the current 2020 Democratic presidential candidates.
Instead, Obama made an unusual endorsement of a foreign leader on Wednesday, tweeting that “the world needs” the “progressive leadership” of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
“I was proud to work with Justin Trudeau as President. He’s a hard-working, effective leader who takes on big issues like climate change. The world needs his progressive leadership now, and I hope our neighbors to the north support him for another term,” Obama wrote.

There are a number of issues at hand with this.
First, Trudeau is in very hot water after he was recently busted for previously wearing blackface — which liberals have deemed racist.
Trudeau has also been battered by an ethics scandal amid allegations that he abused the power of his office and may have been involved in potentially illegal government actions.
Secondly, Obama’s endorsement is simultaneously hilarious and mind-boggling.
Democrats have screamed for almost three years that President Trump is guilty of “treason” for allegedly interfering in a foreign election.
But when Obama just interfered in a foreign election, Democrats and their liberal allies in the media are nowhere to be found. All of a sudden, they don’t care because it’s Obama and not Trump.
Another issue is that Obama apparently has no issue with people who wear blackface.
Obama is African-American, so does his endorsement of a guy who has been busted wearing blackface multiple times mean that he doesn’t think it’s racist?
And here’s arguably the most obvious issue: Obama has refused to endorse Joe Biden, who served as his vice president for eight years and is currently running for president in the U.S. election.
Imagine how angry Biden is that his former boss won’t endorse him, but Obama supports a guy who has been accused of being racist and possibly taking part in illegal actions.
Obama’s endorsement came one day a shocking poll from The Boston Herald found that former First Lady Michelle Obama is the clear favorite for Democratic voters.
The survey reveals that the current Democratic field has three candidates virtually tied for first place — Elizabeth Warren at 25 percent, Joe Biden at 24 percent, and Bernie Sanders at 22 percent in the early voting state of New Hampshire.
When Michelle Obama is added to the survey as a potential Democratic candidate, the poll found that 26 percent of voters would vote for her.
She jumps into first place and passes all three of the current frontrunners.
If Michelle Obama is included in the poll, both Warren and Biden’s support drops to 20 percent and Sanders falls to 15 percent.
There’s a three-way tie between Sanders, Warren, and Biden — meaning the voters are heavily split.
But when Michelle Obama is mentioned, it becomes more than clear that most Democratic voters want her to run for president.
There have been countless reports about Michelle Obama entering the fray and running for president — including among Democrats.
Earlier this month, a leaked report revealed that Democratic insiders are freaking out behind the scenes that none of the current candidates can beat Trump.
Over the summer, conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh declared that he believes Michelle will announce a presidential run when the Democratic primaries are wrapping up early next year.
So we’ve got Barack endorsing racist foreign leaders and Michelle possibly considering running in 2020.
