Democrats are ramming ahead with their plans to impeachment President Donald Trump over a phone call he had back in July with Ukrainian President-elect Zelensky.
While their impeachment plans have been imploding by the day, Democrats just got busted altering congressional forms to bolster their witch hunt.
As noted by Conservative Treehouse, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff changed the House rules of impeachment on Aug. 12, 2019, which is the same day that Democrats claimed to have received the complaint from the so-called whistleblower.
On August 12, 2019, the House “Impeachment Process” memo received an update.
This is also the same day that Democrats claim they got the whistleblower complaint.
The CIA operative “whistleblower” sent a letter to Schiff and Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr on August 12th.
As seen below, Pelosi modified the House rules for impeachment for the 116th Congress on that same day:
Below is the entire document:
As noted on the first page, the document shows that it was updated on August 12, 2019:
It’s unclear what all was changed from the original version of the document, but there are some notable sections that are obvious.
Throughout the entire the impeachment memo, it states that the Judiciary Committee is responsible for holding the investigation, hearings, as well as markups of articles of impeachment against the a sitting president:
In an “overview” section, the document now states that impeachment process may begin if Congress receives information from varying sources, but there’s no specific mention of who that outside source is.
On the 6th page, the footnotes state that Congressional action allows the president’s counsel to answer impeachment.
Former Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton had the chance to respond to the inquiry and challenge evidence — but now the new rules don’t appear to give President Trump that same option.
Are Pelosi and Schiff abiding by their own memo? It sure doesn’t look like it.
It seems as if they altered the documents after they received the complaint from the whistleblower in order to fit their own narrative.
Rather than follow the facts and evidence, Democrats appear to be changing the rules so that their impeachment plans can begin.
A so-called whistleblower filed a complaint alleging that Trump directly asked Zelensky to turn over DNC servers to his administration — but no such request appears in the transcript of the July 25 phone call.
Furthermore, the complaint also claims (1) Trump suggested Zelensky keep his current prosecutor and (2) that a State Department official was on the call between the two leaders.
Newly released reports and information show that both of those claims are also false.
The whistleblower filed a complaint about a call that they never heard, and Democrats want Trump impeached over a call that they also never heard.
But wait, it gets even better.
The Office of Intelligence Community Inspector General found that the “whistleblower” had a “political bias” in favor of one of Trump’s rivals in the 2020 presidential election.
Democrats are attempting to steal that power away from him and the people. And these bogus impeachment charges suggest they are terrified of their chances of defeating Trump in 2020.
