Despite the overwhelming negativity from the liberal mainstream media, President Donald Trump continues to rack up victories for the American people.
Since taking office, the president has been on an economic winning streak unlike any president in recent memory.
And he just secured a victory that has never been done before in American history.
The August jobs report revealed that 130,000 jobs were created and the unemployment rate remained steady at 3.7 percent.
Wages also rose, which means workers are getting paid more for their hard work.
Unemployment among African Americans fell to 5.5 percent, the lowest level that has ever been recorded.
This is a brutal blow to Democrats hoping to divide Americans by claiming Trump is a racist.
Economists had expected the economy to between 150,000 and 180,000 with the median consensus at 163,000.
Last month’s jobs figure was originally reported at 164,000, now revised down to 159,000, and unemployment was 3.7 percent.
Although the headline number was weaker than expected, wage growth was strong in August. Average hourly earnings for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls rose by 11 cents to $28.11, or 0.4 percent, following 9-cent gains in both June and July.
Over the past 12 months, average hourly earnings have increased by 3.2 percent.
In August, average hourly earnings of private-sector production and non-supervisory employees rose by 11 cents to $23.59.
The labor force participation rate edged up to 63.2 percent in August, indicating that the strong labor market has continued to draw Americans into the workforce.
The largest job gains came from professional and business services, which added 37,000. Census hiring boosted the federal government’s hiring to 28,000 workers. Health care added 24,000 to the total while financial services increased by 15,000.
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said the most recent monthly gauge of the U.S. labor market shows a healthy jobs market and economy.
In a question-and-answer session in Zurich, Powell said the outlook for the economy remains favorable and that there will continue to be economic expansion and growth.
Powell also smacked down the latest liberal conspiracy theory that a recession is looming.
“We are not forecasting or expecting, a recession,” Powell said.
“Incoming data for the U.S. suggests that the most likely outlook for the U.S. is still moderate growth, a strong labor market, and inflation continuing to move back up,” he added.
It’s more than clear that Trump is working for the American people. While the media lies, Trump is winning – and that makes it even more likely that he’ll win again in 2020.
