Stormy Daniels Accepts Offer From Top Dem Nadler – It May Be On LIVE Television

Adult film star Stormy Daniels has suffered several defeats in court regarding her feud with President Donald Trump — and it looks like she’s not planning to give up anytime soon.

Daniels took to Twitter on Tuesday and announced that she’s ready and willing to testify before the House Judiciary Committee.

Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler has opened an investigation into whether Trump engaged in illegal activity pertaining to hush-money payments made to Daniels and Stephanie McDougal before the 2016 presidential election.

Should Daniels testify before Nadler’s committee, it would likely be televised for the entire world to see.

Which would mean everyone would see that Democrats are so desperate to bring down Trump they are allowing a stripper and adult film star to testify before Congress.

“I have no fear of being under oath because I have been and will be honest. Bring it!” Daniels wrote.

Daniels tweet was in response to another user who wrote to her and said: “Either she needs to be under oath in Congress or I don’t care what she has to say. @StormyDaniels needs to be put under oath in Congress to testify or don’t bother with this stripper. I bet she doesn’t cuz she’d get busted for lying.”

The Daily Mail reports:

The House Judiciary Committee will delve into the subject of President Donald Trump and payments made to adult entertainers including Daniels and Karen McDougal.

According to House Democrats said that they believe they could have enough to name the president as a co-conspirator in the campaign finance violations. To that end, they could bring Cohen out of prison to testify as to whether the president was involved to the point of criminality.

While Cohen has testified under oath on more than one occasion that the president did direct payments to bother Daniels and McDougal, it has not, up to this point, been deemed actionable.

“Cohen himself has now admitted, with respect to both payments, he acted in coordination with and at the direction of Individual-1,” prosecutors, who had coded the president as “individual 1,” wrote last year in a sentencing memo on the Cohen case according to the DailyMail.

According to his testimony, Cohen paid $130,000 to Daniels, and arranged payments through American Media Inc., the parent company of the National Enquirer, to pay $150,000 to McDougal in a “catch-and-kill” play for her story about an alleged encounter with the now-president.

“I am going to jail in part because of my decision to help Mr. Trump hide that payment from the American people before they voted a few days later,” Cohen told Congress earlier this year according to the DailyMail.

Daniels’ gained national attention late last year after going public and claiming that she had an affair with Trump in 2006.

Daniels was locked in a court battle with the president and Cohen over the nondisclosure agreement she signed in late 2016 for $130,000.

The president has vehemently denied the affair and the entire case blew up in her face in spectacular fashion.

A few months ago, a U.S. District Court ordered Daniels to pay President Trump $293,052.33 to reimburse his attorneys’ fees (75% of his total legal bill), plus an additional $1,000 in sanctions to punish Daniels for having filed a meritless lawsuit against the president.

The Southern District of New York also dropped its case a few months ago into allegations that Trump violated campaign finance laws regarding the two alleged payments.
