Trey Gowdy Risks It All To Tell The One Truth Robert Mueller Fears The Most

Former South Carolina Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy went public recently to tell the one truth that former Special Counsel Robert Mueller fears the most.

During an interview on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” program alongside California GOP Rep. Devin Nunes, the two lawmakers were asked about Mueller testifying before Congress in an open hearing on July 17th.

Gowdy said Republicans should grill Mueller on why the Russia investigation even started given so many Obama-era officials were corrupt, hated President Donald Trump, and possibly took illegal actions to bring down the president.

Gowdy went on to detail five areas of questioning that Republicans should press Mueller on.

Given lawmakers will only have 5 minutes each to question Mueller during the hearing, Gowdy said Republicans should join forces and hammer down 5 key areas.

“You have to be very strategic and have a pretty narrow goal,” Gowdy added.

Gowdy said Republicans should, “Start with bias. You got rid of Peter Strzok because he wanted Clinton to win and Trump to lose, but you hired people that wanted Clinton to win and Trump to lose. So how much bias are you willing to put up with?”

“Number two, someone needs to ask about this legal issue. If you can resist an unlawful arrest, can you resist an unpredicated investigation?” Gowdy asked.

The conservative firebrand argued that this will “force Mueller to go to the origins of the Russia investigation.”

For the fourth question, Gowdy said he would ask Mueller: “Then I would go to what did you find. No criminal collusion despite two years. What did you not find – an indictable offense for obstruction of justice.”

Gowdy concluded by reveals his fifth question– which Mueller would not like one bit.

“We spent two years focused on whether a foreign country was going to influence or interfere with our election. Mueller, did you look at our own government? Did you look at what our own people were doing to maybe put their finger on the scale?” Gowdy asked.

His argument is that Republicans should demand Mueller reveal under oath why he never bothered to investigate figures within the Obama administration, FBI, or Deep State for trying to interfere in the 2016 election to help Hillary Clinton defeat Trump.

Gowdy rounded out his comments by detailing how former United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power and fired FBI Director Jim Comey should be investigated for their roles in unmasking Trump officials picked up on foreign surveillance.

Gowdy also wants Comey held accountable for admittedly leaking classified memos of his conversations with Trump in the Oval Office to the media.

This led to former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointing Mueller in the first place.

All in all, Gowdy thinks the entire Russia investigation started as a Deep State coup because certain Obama figures could not stand Trump and wanted to take him down at all costs.

Aside from that, Mueller’s report clearly vindicates the president and squashes the Democrats pipe dream of impeaching the president.

After a two-year investigation, Mueller stated that his team found no evidence that Trump, his campaign, or any American colluded with Russia during the 2016 presidential election.

Back in April, Attorney General William Barr also said he consulted with Rosenstein and that they both determined there was no evidence to charge Trump with obstructing justice in the Russia probe.

Barr and Mueller have made it clear that there is no evidence of collusion or obstruction of justice.

The president has been completely vindicated after the two-year Russia probe, and Gowdy thinks it is time to turn the tables on those who started the entire witch hunt.
