Trump Redirects Funds For The WHO, Sends Them To Christian Organizations

President Donald Trump just dropped a bomb on the World Health Organization after it hid the truth about coronavirus to protect China.

First, the president stopped funding of the organization and now he took it a step further, twisting the knife in the propaganda unit and taking direct aim at House Speaker and California Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

President Trump has now redirected those funds that were earmarked for the WHO and given it to Samaritan’s Purse and the Red Cross, The New York Post reported.

The White House budget office has told federal agencies to redirect World Health Organization funds to groups that do similar work, indicating a 60-day suspension of WHO funding ordered by President Trump will be permanent.

The funds will flow instead to outfits such as the Red Cross and Samaritan’s Purse after Trump said Tuesday the WHO needed reform after failing to vet coronavirus data from China, contributing to a pandemic that infected more than 650,000 US residents.

The US provided roughly 10 percent of the WHO’s $4.8 billion annual budget. Most US contributions were “voluntary.” Annual US dues were just $58 million, with the next installment not expected until September.

Can you imagine how the Democrats, who have been covering for the Chinese propagandists at the WHO, are going to respond to this?

Can you imagine their horror knowing the president gave the globalists funds to two Christian organizations?

The president originally said that the funds would be suspended, but a senior official within the Trump administration compared the WHO to a construction company that does shoddy work.

“If you pay a contractor to build you a house and the roof falls in, you don’t keep paying them, you find a new contractor,” the official said to the Daily Caller.

“WHO clearly failed to do its job, and continues to make serious mistakes that puts our nation’s safety and security at risk, including allowing the reopening of wet markets. It shouldn’t be controversial for the U.S. to want to partner with international organizations that will actually protect international health,” they said.

The WHO raised $675 million to fight coronavirus and China, who started the entire pandemic, chipped in a measly three percent of that at $20 million

“China, who started the pandemic, ponied up a paltry $20 million,” the Trump administration official said to The Post. “They refuse to pay even 3 percent into the world fund to respond to the virus that their own actions caused to spread rapidly outside of their country. That’s shocking and a disgrace.”

This is particularly an issue for House Speaker Pelosi, who said that the president’s suspension of the funds was “illegal”

“We can only be successful in defeating this global pandemic through a coordinated international response with respect for science and data,” the Speaker said. “This decision is dangerous, illegal and will be swiftly challenged.”

She either does not get the reality of the situation or she cannot bring herself to side with President Trump on anything, even when it is in the best interests of the United States and its citizens.

“Watching the Democrats rush to defend the World Health Organization, which uncritically took China at its word that COVID19 wasn’t a threat or contagious among humans, is really something,” Senior Director of Policy at the Conservative Partnership Institute  Rachel Bovard said to the Daily Caller.

“This is an organization which failed spectacularly at its primary mission. At the very least, a review of US taxpayer contributions — which makeup the largest amount of money the WHO receives from any country — is more than warranted,” she said.
