Trump Gives The Order – Releases The 1 Piece Of Evidence Dems Feared MOST

The Democrat-controlled U.S. House of Representatives will officially vote on Wednesday (Dec. 18) to charge President Donald Trump with obstruction of Congress and abuse of power.

House Democrats want everyone to believe Trump is guilty of “bribery” because he delayed sending U.S. military assistance to Ukraine to force the nation to investigate Joe and Hunter Biden’s shady business deals in the country.

The Trump administration did temporarily delay releasing the aid, but Democrats are flat-out lying about the reason why.

In a newly released memo from the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the withholding of aid was routine and also done by the Obama administration amid concerns of corruption in the Ukrainian government.

The National Review reports:

The White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has drafted a memo casting the delay in the provision of military aid to Ukraine as a routine exercise intended to assure that the funds would be properly spent. This account pushes back on Democrats’ assertion that the aid was delayed for political reasons.

The memo, reviewed by The Washington Post, cited numerous examples of Congress holding up aid to ensure its proper allocation and questioned why lawmakers were not motivated to do the same in this particular instance.

OMB general counsel Mark Paoletta wrote the memo to respond to a U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) request, which sought an explanation as to why the aid had been delayed. Paoletta does not deny the aid was delayed by the administration, and states that the hold was placed “pending a policy decision” from the administration.

In other words, there was a delay on sending hard-earned tax dollars of the American people to Ukraine because the Trump administration — as well as the Obama administration — cited concerns about corruption and Ukrainian government misusing the funds.

After Ukraine elected Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelensky in April, Trump basically said he wanted to speak with the newly elected president and raise concerns about corruption.

OMB temporarily withheld roughly $400 million in assistance to Ukraine so that Trump could speak with Zelensky and ensure the money was going to be properly spent and used.

The timeline is also important.

After the July 25 phone call with Trump and Zelensky, the Ukrainian president had five interactions with senior U.S. officials in that time frame.

One was his call with Trump and four other face-to-face meetings with other senior U.S. officials.

And guess what, in not one of those interactions — not one — were security assistance dollars linked to investigating Burisma or Biden.

Let us also remember that Trump has done far more for Ukraine than Obama ever did when he was in office.

In that military aid, Trump also gave Ukraine tank-busting Javelins to fight the Russians and an abundance of other powerful weapons.

Trump sent them missiles, Obama literally gave them blankets.

In the end, this will fail.

In their enduring fury over the lost 2016 election, Democrats have rejected the idea that the duly-elected president has the power to set foreign policy.

When it comes to Ukraine, a former Soviet bloc country with a history of corruption, it is within Trump’s right to place conditions on sending them aid.

That combined with the OMB memo that the hold-up in aid was due to a routine policy matter and not political bribery is another death blow to Democrats latest witch hunt.
