After nearly five months of sham hearings, bogus allegations, and still no evidence President Donald Trump did anything wrong, the impeachment witch hunt is finally over.
The Republican-controlled Senate voted on Wednesday to officially acquit the president on both articles of impeachment.
The impeachment witch hunt is finally over — but the president wants payback on those who attempted to achieve his ouster.
According to an article published in Vanity Fair on Monday, the president already has one person at the top of his list for payback: Former National Security Advisor John Bolton.
The liberal magazine quotes an anonymous source as saying that the president “has an enemies list that is growing by the day.”
What’s more, a “prominent Republican” is said to have told the publication that “it’s payback time” in the eyes of the commander in chief.
“Trump’s playbook is simple,” the unnamed person explained. “Go after people who crossed him during impeachment.”
The magazine also claims that Trump wants to go after Democratic Reps. Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, and Jerry Nadler.
Trump also reportedly wants to go after Utah GOP Sen. Mitt Romney, especially after the Never-Trumper was the only Republican to vote with Democrats to charge the president with “abuse of power.”
But according to “several sources,” Bolton’s name tops the list.
“Trump has been calling people and telling them to go after Bolton,” one person reportedly said, going on to suggest that the president would like a criminal investigation opened into Bolton for leaking material to the media.
Beyond that, the impeachment witch hunt is finally over.
On the first article of impeachment, “abuse of power,” 52 voted “not guilty” and 48 voted “guilty.”
52 Republicans voted to acquit the president, with Romney and all 47 Senate Democrats voting to convict the president.
The vote on the second article of impeachment, “obstruction of Congress,” concluded with 53 voting “not guilty” and 47 voting “guilty.”
All 53 Republicans voted to acquit the president and all 47 Senate Democrats voted to convict the president.
Romney sided with Republicans to acquit the president on the charge of obstruction of Congress.
The president has been acquitted of both impeachment charges.
Trump was completely acquitted and fully exonerated in the Senate because the Democrats’ case was incredibly weak.
Democrats endlessly whined, issued ridiculous demands, and are already claiming the process was “rigged.”
They accused Trump of just about everything imaginable, and after months of wasting taxpayer dollars to hold impeachment hearings, they still can’t prove the president did anything wrong.
Just one day after his historic State of the Union address, the president has been acquitted and completely exonerated.
And now, the president has a list of traitors that he wants to get payback on.
