VP Mike Pence Responds To Allegations – He’s Denying Everything

Democrats have ratcheted up a new round of ridiculous allegations against Vice President Mike Pence — and it proves just how desperate they are heading into 2020.

Last week, Democrats accused Pence of staying at a Trump golf resort during an official government trip in Ireland in order to help the president financially.

Pence has denied staying at Trump’s resort for any nefarious reason, saying he did so because he has family in the area and that he used his own money to pay for his sister and mother who stayed with him.

Pence said President Donald Trump suggested he stay at the resort, but did not order him do so.

Democratic lawmakers and their allies in the media have suggested that Trump wanted to profit financially from Pence and his family staying there.

During his two-day visit to Dublin, Ireland, Pence chose to stay two nights at the Trump International Golf Links & Hotel in Doonbeg, which is where his family is from.

While speaking to reporters about his stay, Pence hit back at the fake news media.

The VP said he understood the “political attacks by Democrats” surrounding his stay, Pence noted that Doonbeg, Ireland, is a “fairly small place.”

He added, “The opportunity to stay at Trump National in Doonbeg, to accommodate the unique footprint that comes with our security detail and other personnel made it logical.”

Pence added that his visit to Ireland gave him the opportunity to “connect to the roots” of his family, which he views as a way that “supports the relationship between the United States and Ireland.”

This is obviously nothing more than the latest stunt from Democrats to go after Trump and anyone in his administration.

Quite amazing that Trump donates his entire presidential salary to charity and government agencies, yet the Obamas are purchasing a $15 million beachfront mansion in Camp David after leaving the presidency with riches.
