Certain figures within the Republican Party are still scheming behind closed doors to sabotage President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign.
The latest “front man” for the Never-Trump movement is former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci.
Scaramucci, once a close ally and supporter of Trump, spent his weekend partying with Bill and Hillary Clinton.
According to Vanity Fair, Scaramucci attended Bill Clinton’s birthday party in Martha’s Vineyard over the weekend and shared his celebration with the Clintons, former Secretary of State John Kerry, and New York Times stake owner Carlos Slim.
The timing of this significant because Scaramucci has been smearing and slandering Trump on just about every cable news shows he can get on.
On Monday, just days after partying with the Clintons, Scaramucci appeared on CNN and detailed how he is working on to defeat Trump in the 2020 Republican primary.
Scaramucci told host Alisyn Camerota that a Trump challenger could skip the traditional early state caucuses and primaries in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada and instead target the larger, delegate-rich states later in the contest.
“The good news is you have until November, but you can really skip over the states of Iowa and New Hampshire and South Carolina and you can work on the bigger states. You can start winning delegates from some of the biggest states that are sour on the president,” Scaramucci stated.
Scaramucci then said he’s recruiting former Trump cabinet officials to speak out against the president.
“I’m in the process of putting together a team of people that feel the exact same way that I do. This is not a ‘Never Trump’ situation. This not just screeching rhetoric. This is — Okay, the guy is unstable,” Scaramucci said.
He added: “Everyone inside knows it, everyone outside knows it. Let’s see if we can find a viable alternative. Moreover, I have to get some former Cabinet officials in unity to speak up about it. They know it’s a crisis.”
Isn’t it suspicious that Scaramucci unveiled his plan to “remove Trump” from office in 2020 less than two days after he spent the weekend around the Clintons?
One might argue that Scaramucci spoke with the Clintons about how they can team-up and take down Trump in the upcoming election.
And that will not sit well with many Americans.
