Democrats jumped the gun by putting all of their faith in a so-called whistleblower to give them the opportunity to impeach President Donald Trump.
It seems like as more information continues to be released about the ongoing Ukraine controversy — it gets better for Trump and worse for Democrats.
And that was especially true this week after the Trump administration told Democrats there was no chance White House lawyer John Eisenberg would show up to testify before the House on Monday.
The White House informed House Democrats that Eisenberg has immunity as a close adviser of Trump.
Eisenberg received a subpoena on Friday and was expected to testify Monday.
Besides the immunity issue, Democrats are trying to play games by subpoenaing officials to testify with only a few days notice.
He was subpoenaed on Friday afternoon and Democrats wanted Eisenberg to testify under oath on Monday morning — which only gives him about 48 hours to prepare.
Eisenberg’s lawyer, William Burck, blasted this stunt from Democrats in a letter informing them that his client would not appear.
“Even if Mr. Eisenberg had been afforded a reasonable amount of time to prepare, the President has instructed Eisenberg not to appear at the deposition,” Burck wrote, according to The Hill.
Democrats want to speak with Eisenberg because he reportedly suggested moving the transcript and recording of the July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to a secure location.
Democrats are trying to claim — without a shred of evidence — that Eisenberg is part of some sort of cover-up to protect the president.
The White House telling House Democrats to go pound sand came around the same time that two other major Ukraine bombshells dropped this week — and both are fantastic news for the president.
Trump told reporters on Tuesday that he is inviting Zelensky to visit the White House.
This is huge news because it would allow Zelensky another opportunity to tell the leftist media directly to their faces that Trump never pressured him to investigate Joe Biden and his son’s shady business deals in Ukraine.
The other Ukraine bombshell that dropped in the past week is equally as important.
Two top officials with firsthand knowledge of Trump’s July 25 Ukraine phone call testified this week and absolutely destroyed Democrats impeachment witch hunt.
Former NSC Senior Director for European Affairs Tim Morrison, who listened to Trump’s call with Zelensky, testified last Wednesday that the president did not discuss anything illegal during the conversation.
Morrison testified that Ukrainian officials didn’t know certain U.S. military funding had been delayed by the Trump administration until late August 2019, which was more than a month after the Trump-Zelensky call.
This destroys the Democrats argument that Trump told Zelensky on the July 25 that he had to reopen the investigation into the Biden’s shady family business deals in order to receive the military funding.
Philip Reeker, one of the top U.S. diplomats to Europe, also testified this week that he did not know U.S. security aid was withheld to pressure Ukraine’s new president to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.
While liberals love seeing unelected hacks try to harm the president, things continue to go from bad to worse for Obama’s allies in the Deep State.
Attorney General William Barr and the prosecutor running the investigation, John H. Durham, have shifted their investigation into the origins of the Russia probe into a criminal inquiry.
We also learned last week that Eric Ciaramella is the “whistleblower” who filed a complaint over Trump’s Ukraine phone call.
Ciaramella is: (1) a registered Democrat; (2) worked for Obama and Joe Biden when they were in the White House; (3) is a vocal critic of Trump; (4) helped initiate the Russia “collusion” hoax; and (5) was fired from the National Security Council in 2017 for leaks, and returned to the CIA.
